Crossmaglen is the regional centre for South Armagh and is an excellent example of inter agency co-operation in that the facility houses a library, a purpose built pre-school facility and Social services day centre for the disabled.

Often described as South Armagh’s centre for culture, art and folklore, Mullaghbawn Community Centre plays an integral part in the life of this small rural Community.

This purpose built community facility opened in 1997 at a cost in excess of £1/4m and offers the most modern facilities.

It is situated close to Slieve Gullion Forest Park and is located in a tranquil setting.

Facilities include a main activity hall 60’x 30’ with hatched facilities to a modern fully equipped kitchen.
A multi-purpose activity/meeting with TV and video.
Office accommodation.
Outdoor children’s play area.
The site also includes a purpose built pre and after school facility.
