Newry and Mourne Community Safety Partnership are now entering their fourth successive year of running their Youth Awards Competition. The Youth Awards Competition is used to give young people from across the Newry and Mourne area a platform to voice their opinions on issues relating to Community Safety. Newry and Mourne Community Safety Partnership feel that the competition is an excellent way to engage with the youth of the district as well as providing them with the opportunity to explore important issues such as community safety, good relations and health.
The entries in last year’s competition showed the extent of the talent of the youth in Newry and Mourne. We received exceptional entries in all categories and made the 6, first place entries into short films, which were broadcast on our Community Television Network. These winning clips can also be viewed on the media player.
