CHANGE OF REFUSE COLLECTION DAY
Newry & Mourne District Council are currently implementing a new refuse collection schedule. From Monday 14th February 2011 these new refuse routes will be put into action. All householders in the district should have received a leaflet with enclosed 2011 refuse collection calendar, advising of their new collection day, prior to implementation of the new routes on 14th February 2011.
It is important to note that this new collection schedule will only affect the black and blue bins. Householders with brown bins should continue to present their brown recycling bin for collection on their old collection day, on weeks when brown recycling bins are being emptied. Brown bin collection calendars can be obtained from our Customer Services section by telephoning 028 3031 3233/67.
