Bulky Collection Service

The Council provides a Bulky Collection Service to domestic customers only, at a charge of £5.00 (inc.VAT) for a maximum of 3 items per household

The service is solely for the collection of items too large for placement into the household wheelie bin. A maximum of three individual items per collection is allowed.

The customer must ensure that all items for collection are clearly labelled and located at a prearranged collection point agreed with the Council in advance. Payment must be made either via cheque or credit card prior to the collection being provided.

What type of material will the service collect?

Yes No
White goods:
eg fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine, domestic freezer.
Building maintenance:
NB: Garden waste can be collected but a charge will be levied.
  
Furnishings:
eg seats, tables, sideboards, mattress, bed, chair, carpet, lino.
Fixtures & Fittings:

Black Bags

Maximum of 10 bags per collection.

80/20 Recycling is a grass-roots, community-led Social Enterprise, run by and for the people of Newry & Mourne. They provide a free collection service of high quality furniture including: Soft furnishings (beds, sofas), Hard furnishings (drawers, tables, small wardrobes), Bric-a-brac (ornaments), Kitchenware (pans, plates, mugs) and Household (curtains, bedding).
