Walk
details
The route starts at a footbridge towards Windy Gap. Follow the signs
which divert walkers around the back of a nearby house and continue
to join a well made track. The strenuous route to the summit of
Eagle Mountain follows the wall for all except the final 20 metres.
Approximate time: 5 hours
Parking: Is along the Sandy Brae Road 1 km south west of Attical
in the Southern Mournes, adjacent to a football pitch.
